Letters to Bush and Lobdell (Charles Bush and George G. Lobdell), a Wilmington, Del., firm of suppliers of heavy machinery, parts, and tools for gins, textile works, railroads, and agriculture. The letters were written by agents in Mobile, Ala., New Orleans, La., and Macon and Savannah, Ga., concerning orders, finance, and politics; and by southern railroad companies requesting wheels and axles.
